The Irish Department of Agriculture Full story (PDF 510 KB)
The agrifood sector remains one of Ireland’s most important
indigenous industries, accounting directly for over 8% of both GDP and
employment, and exports of over €8.1 billion. The dispersed spread and
composition of the agriculture sector, along with its use of local raw
material and services, ensures that it continues to play an integral
part in the viability of rural areas and the national economy. The
Veterinary Laboratory Services that support the Irish Department of
Agriculture are geographically spread throughout the country and as
such, require timely and accurate flow of information and research
results across all locations to fulfill the directives of the
Department.

HUNT Biobank Learn more (PDF 859 KB)
The Nord-Trøndelag Health Study (HUNT) is one of the largest
population-based health studies ever performed. Spanning almost 25
years, HUNT now represents an integrated family and personal database
of approximately 100,000 people from Nord-Trøndelag County, Norway.
Initiated to support epidemiological, clinical and preventative medical
research, HUNT offers a valuable insight into disease status and
progression, particularly in relation to quality of life measures such
as environment, education and occupation. To accommodate for the vast
scope of this project, a comprehensive LIMS was required to gather,
store, manage, track and retrieve material securely, and be capable of
yielding real-time, dependable analysis and reports.
Nerviano Medical Sciences Learn more (PDF 456 KB)
Nerviano Medical Sciences (NervianoMS) is the largest

forms have evolved to produce a vast diversity of uniquely
sophisticated chemical entities. Among these there are molecules with
potent biological activities which have developed as a form of
biochemical warfare to survive in a highly competitive environment.
PharmaMar has recognized the anti-tumor potential of these molecules
and is actively developing them as innovative treatments for cancer.
